Adidas’ new silhouette echoes Fieg vibes.
Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year, often gives us beautiful gifts. This year we were given many a sneaker treasure, some that flopped – such as the NMD tricolour – and others, such as this gorgeous UltraBoot ATR-Mid Sample.
Here at Primalguise we’ve got the exclusive on something that incorporates the aesthetic of the KITH Aspen UltraBoost Mid with Adidas’ minimalist boost vibe. Incorporating a chunky-grip sole, hugging mid-top 3.0 Primeknit and reflective 3M laces, this is set to be one of the most popular silhouettes when it releases mid-to-late 2017.
As you can see the Mid’s have a pull-tab and raised ‘3-stripes’, which are a couple of nice touches to this all-new shape.
I can report that this is a shoe that functions just as much as it works as a fashion piece. The rugged sole really works, and when we consider the more-fitted-than-ever Primeknit, we’re given a snug, form-fitting, stable sneaker that seems to be designed for the fall months (hence it’s fall release).
I think it’s safe to say these will be more of a success than Adidas’ previous attempt of a full-on ATR-traction version of it’s increasingly popular UltraBoost model – I can’t wait to see what the three stripes does with this new venture.
Thanks Fieg, for making mid-tops cool again.
Thanks to Digitalemissions for his photography of the sneakers.
