Forget everything you know about summer style. Now is the time to rock monochrome and tonal shades all season. From dusty pink, sand and olive to a classic triple black ensemble, you can’t go wrong with simplicity and modern minimalism. Over the past week I’ve been on a shopping hype. I’ve really wanted to upgrade my wardrobe, get some killer pieces in there that I know I can wear this season and next – so what better way than to stick to the plain and simple monochrome scheme.
My favourite piece is the Filling Pieces cop. I bought these at Liberty’s in London discounted, where you can currently pick them up for a steal at around £80 depending on your size/availability. They’re a comfortable shoe and very luxurious considering the price point – to think you can pay more for New Balance.
The A.P.C. top was a great surprise when I was given it to me by one of the store’s managers. Not actually on sale and just left in the stock room, these tops sold out instantly in store, so getting one has made me (very) chuffed! The A.P.C. store on Redchurch Street, Shoreditch had a lot of sale items between 30-50% off, and so does their store in Soho, close to Carnaby Street. With lots of sizes, styles and discounts, you’re sure to find an amazing discounted piece in either store.
Thanks for reading. As always, I love hearing your feedback. What have you picked up recently? Is monochrome a summer staple for you? And please, lets rate the sneakers! Come back soon for a Supreme special, too.
